Spend a few hours in the Melbourne Museum. Designed as a 'living space', you won’t find many stuffed animals in glass boxes at this AUD$290 million museum. Opened in 2000, the museum is a centre for exploration, education and fun. Experience regular live performances, a living forest, public art, 3D IMAX and immersion reality theatres, and six themed galleries.

the Arts Centre
The spire of the Arts Centre is a distinctive Melbourne skyline landmark that gains a new dimension at night when lit by a multi-coloured lightshow.
