Three day food and wine tour of Melbourne and the Yarra Valley

DAY ONE - YARRA VALLEY

From Melbourne, head east for the rolling hills, contented cows and fabulous food of the famous Yarra Valley, an easy hour's drive. The Yarra Valley is now the home to over 40 wineries and a multitude of shops and cafes.

Sample some of the wine at the Australian arm of French Champagne giant Moet and Chandon. Once at Domaine Chandon be sure to take one of their hourly guided tours around the exhibition hall, winery and 'ridding' hall, where winemaking techniques are explained.

DAY TWO - YARRA VALLEY

Cooking workshops followed by lunch featuring stunning Yarra Valley organic produce and wines. Yering Station is set on the site of Yarra Valley's first vineyard planted in 1838 and it is now one of the most impressive stops on any tour of the Yarra Valley. The restaurant has sensational views, delicious food and excellent service.

DAY THREE - YARRA VALLEY AND MELBOURNE

The dining venue known as Bob's Gate provides European style food to complement the estate-grown wines. This great outdoor marquee-style setting is the perfect way to complement an afternoon of fine food and wine.

After lunch, depart for Melbourne to complete your tour with an evening of culture.

Melbourne's Chinatown is the longest surviving Chinatown in Australia, dating back to the 1850s. Located centrally in Little Bourke Street between Swanston and Spring Streets, it offers a wide variety of cultural experiences within a unique heritage setting.
