I see the city every day, as I go about my business, but even in my assumptions on what I think I know, other creative people allow my days to always be full of firsts..
As one foreign friend once put it, "birthdays".. the first time you see, smell, taste, experience something is as much a "birthday" to that experience, that memory.. as yours is to arriving in this world.
so these are some of mine.. sadly some no longer are there... the transient nature within such a defined grid, often surprises me.. and some are right in front of me evry day, but my blinkers did not let me see them for all their richnesses.. until I stopped!
In a city that for a novice may just be like any other... there is always so much more...
